Harry (known as the Head Gobbler) and Irene Treder are the founders of H. Treder & Sons, Inc., professional roofing contractors. They are big time dancers and started dancing in 1984 when they were 55 years old. Now, at age 75, Harry and Irene rarely miss a weekend dancing. They used to dance every night but live bands are hard to come by on weeknights so now they just kick up their heals on the weekends.
Harry and Irene have seven children -- five girls and two boys, Bob and Richard "Poncho", who are part owners in the family business, along with a grandson, Tom. "Dad taught us early on about having a strong work ethic, doing the job right the first time and being proud of your work," says Poncho.
The Treder & Sons crew has remained the same over the past 20 years, and includes sons Bob and Poncho, grandson Tom full-time and grandson Mike during the summer months when he's not studying at Ripon College. Harry and Irene's "adopted" son, Don Moldenhauer is part of the hardworking team and has been with Treder & Sons for 20 years.
